To obtain a high quality finishing in its production,
following international standards, Marmocil owns a modern
industrial plant and works with a highly qualified labor
force. The cutting and polishing processes are automated,
guaranteeing employee protection and production precision.
The plate cutting is carried out by three looms with adamantine
thread and six conventional looms. For the polishing,
the company uses Politrix. The plates receive not only
the traditional polishing, but also an extra-shine, water-proofing,
and automatic paging.
Quality Verification
Through the Written Instructions Quality Program, Marmocil
makes the difference
Marmocil, in partnership with Escola Senai Mário
Amato, from São Paulo, developed the Written
Instructions Quality Program. Its purpose is to elaborate
technological folders and reference guides for the use
of materials, covering recommended uses, fixation techniques,
and handling and conservation procedures of the materials
laid.
In the Written Instructions Quality Program, the alterability
essays simulate in accelerated speed the effect of natural
and anthropogenic agents of stone degradation in internal
and external overlays, enabling the foreseeing of pathology
occurrence. The essays also allow the diagnosis of the
conditions that are responsible for each pathology manifestation.
